EMPLOYMENT
Sarcan is the recycling division of SARC, which strives to
  • provide employment for people of all abilities
  • protect the environment
  • contribute to Saskatchewan's economic development
Our laundry business is contracted to the new Moosomin South East Integrated Care Centre (SEICC), which offers acute, emergency and long term care to Moosomin and the wider area.

It operates 5 days a week and is managed by Kevin and Connie, who regularly process between 750 and 1110 lbs of laundry a day through the 3 washing machines and 4 dryers.

Participants are employed according to their abilities for periods between 1/2 hour and 4 hours, loading the dryers, sorting, folding and stacking the finished linen ready to be returned to the hospital.
