The Sensory Room is a brand new facility and is equipped with items providing visual,auditory and tactile stimulation. It is a place to retreat from the bustle of the main activity area and either sit quietly and watch the light display, listen to soothing music or experiment with the wide range of toys. Staff find this area invaluable to work for short periods of time one-to-one with the participants, encouraging communication and motor skills.
Fridays are often give a theme. Participants and staff dress to suit and craft activities during the week are geared to the theme. Recently we have had Cowboy Day, Hawaiian Day, Roughriders Day . . .

Laughter Club is a program designed to improve health, happiness, and positive interaction between participants and staff. It involves several exercises designed to help people laugh in new and unique ways. The power of laughter in this program revolves around welcoming and inviting values.
Music Club is held every Friday in the Music Room. There is singing, dancing, and a wide range of fun musical instruments to play. Bells ringing and voices singing bring participants and staff together in a time of simple fun through the art of music.
Library Club is a weekly (sometimes twice weekly) outing. Participants go to the public library on main street to spend some time in the books.
Meals on wheels happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Participants and Staff get together to deliver meals to people who are unable to get out often. Meals are made in the hospital and are delivered to shut-ins throughout Moosomin.
PIPESTONE KIN-ABILITY CENTRE INC.
Every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer, weather permitting, the participants and staff make a trip to the local swimming pool. This afternoon activity is full of fun in the sun and water.
