Mission Statement
Pipestone Kin-Ability Centre Inc. aims to provide support that will enhance quality of life through the achievement of individualized, desired outcomes as defined by the participant with the support of family, service providers, and others
It offers residential, supported living and vocational services through:
- our group homes, Pipestone Place and Bryant House, which offer residential services in a safe and home-like environment
- our Activity Centre, which provides vocational services to support the needs and abilities of the individual and includes a Developmental Centre, incorporating quality of life activites
- Businesses which employ participants in meaningful, paid work:
the Laundry , which is contracted to the new South East Incorporated
Care Centre
the local branch of SARCAN - serving the community by recycling
plastic bottles and cardboard drinks cartons
an Eco-Centre which recycles oil
the Driving Range
Our Supported Living Program provides support for those individuals who live on their own but need help with life skills, and we work closely with local High Schools to provide work experience and transition supports for students with developmental disabilities.
